But if you are also faced with the task of wrapping and shipping your gift, your spirits can start fading fast.
That's why firstgift was born. We love babies and make it our business to shop for distinctive gifts. Shopping at our internet boutique is easy. Our trademark Gift Wrapping is included at no charge. The larger gifts are wrapped in a beautiful gift paper, tulle ribbon and topped with a complimentary package tie on, a soft rattle from Gund. The smaller, packages are packed in a gloss white box with the tulle ribbon and topped with the same rattle from Gund as a tie on. You can be certain each gift will be beautifully presented.

You may add items to and remove items from our online Shopping Cart as much as you wish; doing so does not actually order anything. When you are ready to place your order, click the Checkout button on the Shopping Cart to specify your shipping and payment information.
Note: To help keep your personal information private, every time you enter your credit card number or your billing and shipping information on our site, we use the industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt your information.
Please be aware that your order is not placed, and nothing will be charged to your credit card, until you complete the Checkout process and we have displayed your Order Confirmation. You have the option of receiving an order confirmation email from us, which we recommend as a means to keep track of your online purchases (you may also find it helpful to print and save the order confirmation page itself.)
If we have a problem processing your order or learn that an item is out of stock after receiving your order, we will notify you promptly.

We ship via UPS Ground or Priority Mail (2-3 days) from the post office. Our shipping charges are calculated on the weight of your gift and the zone it is being shipped to. You make the choice at the time of your order.
When items are in stock, we will assemble, gift-wrap, pack and ship your gift within 24 hours of when you place your order. If you order early in the day (for example, before 2:00pm Eastern time), we are usually able to ship your order out that same day. Personalized items, such as our Personalized Blankets, are a special order. Allow three or four days. Check the Availability information listed for the specific item you're ordering.
If your gift must be delivered as fast as possible you may opt for overnight shipping from Federal Express or Express Mail from the US Postal Service. Because FedEx places a surcharge on our large boxes we prefer to ship by Express Mail for these packages. Again the shipping charge is based on weight and distance. Make sure to order as early as possible in the day.
We will gladly ship to the United Kingdom, Canada and parts of Europe. Select the appropriate shipping option. In some cases we can ship to other countries, please call or email us with questions. If we can ship there we ship your package and adjust the shipping charges accordingly. If you need to send a package Global Express just call us and we will do our best to accomodate you. Actually, Global Express
costs less than $10 more, usually, and includes insurance
and a better means of tracking the package. We highly recommend it.
We will send you an email with the USPS, UPS, or FedEx tracking number when your order has shipped. You may then visit the site of the appropriate shipping company and track your package by clicking one of the links below.
